PA’s Parx Casino Next in Line to Resume Operations

Two Pennsylvania casinos are ready to reopen Monday, 29th of June. This was announced on their official websites. Parx Casino, based in Bensalem and Wind Creek Bethlehem will be joining several other casino properties to have resumed their operations in the Keystone State.

Parx Casino will be reopening its doors to patrons at 9 am on Monday. The property adopted a number of improved safety measures in line with health and social distancing guidelines given by the CDC, the Pennsylvania Health Department, and also the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

How will things work?

Casino staff will then rearrange slot machines games and gaming tables. Moreover, there will be limited seating at those to permitted patrons to practice social distancing. Employees and customers are required to wear masks or other facial coverings at all times while on the gaming floor.

The casino’s poker room will remain closed until further notice. Only a few selected dining and bar facilities will reopen and they will operate with limited hours.

Guests will enter through a limited number of doors that are either propped open, manually or automated opened by an employee. If the casino reaches capacity, guests will then be asked to wait outside.

All casino patrons have their temperatures checked upon entry. Any patron that registers a temperate at or even above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will take a secondary check. Should the second check registers at or above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit, the guests will not be permitted to enter the casino.

Customers refusing to wear masks or face coverings will be refused entry to the gaming floor.

Wind Creek Bethlehem Readies for Reopening

Wind Creek Bethlehem, which closed in mid-March, will resume operations on June 29. The property’s General Manager Kathy McCracken said in a statement that they have “made a reopening plan that contains utilizing a gaming reservation system.”

The booking system will open to casino patrons on Wednesday, June 24, on Wind Creek Bethlehem’s official website.
